Sure-Grip® EX Compac Pesticides Safety Cabinet, Cap. 12 gal., 1 adjustable shelf, 1 s/c door
Compac Safety Cabinets fit almost anywhere and provide protection even where space is at a premium. These cabinets are ideal when storing lesser quantities of pesticides at a workstation or adding to existing storage capacities. Only 23-1/4 in. (591-mm) wide, they hold a full 12-gallons (45-L) of liquids. Pesticides present a substantial danger to people and the environment when improperly stored. Pesticide safety cabinets allow segregation of liquids stored at the worksite, eliminating the potential for drips and spills during the transfer of pesticides. Dissimilar pesticides stored separately prevent one from contaminating another or the accidental use of the wrong chemical. Safety cabinets that are specifically designed to house these types of chemicals offer features including sturdy double-wall, 18-gauge steel construction with 1½" of air space and dual flame-arresting vents. The three-point automatic latch with keyed lock prevents unauthorized access. Steel shelves fitted with corrosion-resistant polyethylene trays adjust on 3" (77mm) centers to accommodate a wide variety of containers. Manual-close door(s) opens to a full 180 degrees and self-latches when pushed closed. Self-close door(s) shuts and latches automatically when a fusible link melts at 165°F (74ºC) under fire conditions. Unique, concealed self-closing mechanism offers obstruction-free access to contents. All door styles meet OSHA and NFPA 30; self-close door styles also meet NFPA 1 and the International Fire Code. All cabinets are FM approved and come with a ten-year warranty.
